How to Donate
There are two ways to donate; online, or, if you are in the US you can send a cheque to the WildlifeDirect office in Washington.
Your entire donation, minus only a small bank fee, will go directly to the Mara Conservancy. WildlifeDirect believes in total transparency and accountability of funding for conservation, and require the Mara Conservancy to give a detailed report on how exactly the donations are spent.
1. Make a Donation Online
To make a donation, put in an amount in either one of the boxes on the right, where it says ‘USD’. The amount is in US dollars.
If you are making a donation from outside of the US, visit this currency converter site to work out the exact amount in dollars that you wish to donate.
All of the donations are securely made through paypal, and by putting an amount in the top box you will be able to make a monthly subscription to the Mara Conservancy. By filling in the box just below, you will be able to make a one-off donation of your choice.
2. Make a Donation by Cheque
If you are in the US you can send a cheque to the following address:
WildlifeDirect Inc.
306 5th St. SE
Washington, DC
United States 20003
Make sure the cheque is made payable to ‘WildlifeDirect Inc.‘, and that on the back it’s clearly marked for ‘Mara Triangle‘ (WildlifeDirect handle donations for many conservation groups).
As a cheque takes longer to clear than an online transaction, please notify us by email once you have sent it so that we can account for it straight away and budget accordingly. If you should have any questions about donations, or indeed any problems with making a donation, do not hesitate to contact us on the Mara Triangle website by clicking here.
Thank you for your support.

Joseph, my best wishes and a donation are on the way. If no one needs my help for a fundraiser for the Mara in the next 2 weeks, then I will donate the money I had set aside for that sole purpose.
Joseph -
I’ve sent the e-mail fundraising request to everyone I know and made a donation this morning. I thank you for your courageous work on behalf of innocent wildlife. Let’s hope the donations increase!
Could finally donate through facebook (easy) as my Paypal account is suspended. Keep up the good work
Thank you Alejandra.
Yes, I should mention that if for whatever reason you are unable to donate through this blog but you wish to make a donation straight away, then you can make a donation online using Facebook:
http://apps.facebook.com/causes/60491
However, you should note that when donating through Facebook, between 4.5 - 4.75% of your donation is used on bank fees. WildlifeDirect take only 2 - 3% for bank fees.
I have just read an article in the Big Issue ( 91st Japan edition ) written by Miss Asuka Takita working as Masai Mala Traveling livestock Veterinary, about the issues and needs at the Mala Conservancy.
I just donated my best right now but everything I typed was in japanese. My apologies, I hope there will be no problem.. Though monthly donation is not possible, when I am better off, I will remember.Of course this site address will be forwarded to my friends. Mr Kimojino, if you meet Miss Takita could you tell her our thankfulness for informing us about you? My best wishes to you all in Kenya.
Dear Yura
I have just spoken and thanked Asuka for writing the article and letting people like yourself know more about the Mara Conservancy.
Asuka’s efforts in getting the story out there have been tireless and for that we are all extremely grateful. Also, thank you Yura for your donation, it is very much needed at this time.
Thanks again.
Dear Mr. Will,
It is me who thank you.
Hello from Hiroshima,
I too live in Hiroshima. I’m an American English teacher. I just found your website and sent a newsletter off to several of my friends back home. Hopefully they will send some donations. I’m sending mine to you through Paypal tomorrow morning. I’m also going to link to your website once my own website is up and running.
God bless,
Carla Beth :o)
Morning Will, Joseph and everyone
Made a new donation today my friends.
Please guys, tell all the wonderful creatures there is not a single day I do not think of them
Please PEOPLE, we MUST carry on making donations when we are able to !
Vincent
I have had the privilege of visiting the Mara on three occasions. If someone asked me where would I like to spend the last day of my life it would be in the Mara.
You guys are doing a wonderful job. There is not a day goes by that my heart is not in the Mara. I’m sure there are people all over the world who feel the same way.
I have made a donation today and will try to make more.
Fondest regards to you all from Australia.
“I’m sure there are people all over the world who feel the same way”
Yes Rosalind, I guess many people here who had the experience of Wildlife feel the same. Moreover, you have used a wonderful word that is the best one to be used (to me at least) when speaking about such places like Mara or the Serengeti or the Okavango Delta …
May it be in Kenya or anywhere else, Wildlife is truly and always a great “privilege” to meet and one of the most amazing world to study and understand.
By the way my friends: carry on making donations whenever you can to help our so devoted friends, Will, Joseph and all the Rangers over there in Mara to keep Mara as it must remain.
Vincent
[…] It doesn’t take a lot of money to build an audience and to make an impact. It takes passion, authenticity, and solid strategy. I’m extremely impressed by Joseph and The Mara Triangle on each. I sent my donation today. I hope you do the same. Support The Mara Triangle. […]
